The Author, Justina Nadolson, would like to thank and acknowledge all those who came alongside this journey and devotional.
Jesus Christ - Without Him, I don't know how I would have made it through this last year! Also, it is humbling to see how everything was orchestrated according to His divine plan. I will always be thankful for His saving me, securing my eternity, and writing my life story to include this devotion. My husband, Ethan - First of all, thanks for not dying. :) Second, thanks for being a wonderful husband all these years and for being worth fighting for all these months. You are worth every worry and every tear I shed. Thank you for humbling yourself to let me put your very personal story out there so people could benefit from the things we both learned in 2021. I love you. My children, Katrina, Katy, Adam, and Elizabeth - I am sorry for all the times you saw me be an anxious wreck while I learned some of this. Thanks for helping me take good care of your Dad, and for keeping the homestead and businesses going during our family's crisis. You always come through in a clutch! I love you all. My parents, Susie and Jim Logston - Part of my story is their story. Every single day, sometimes multiple, they prayed for Ethan and me, our family, and our businesses without the leader at the helm. Knowing I had that kind of love and support sustained me in my darkest hours. Kelly Bangs - Our story is woven together with many connections, but God put us together as friends in His divine time. Thank you for saying "yes" to this project, and thank you for the beautiful design of this devotion. We are doing Kingdom Work together! Jacque Thomas - Always my sister and friend, believing in and supporting me. Thanks for reviewing this devotion and for your encouragement. I am praying for your cancer journey and am here for you. Melany McNeal - Thanks for being my forever prayer partner and for the countless hours you no doubt spent reviewing the devotion and giving your suggestions and feedback. It is a better product because of you. Monica Canter - Your friendship and support this last year made a world of difference, as you faithfully checked in on me day after day. You and Steve were the ones who came alongside practically because you could see I was drowning trying to manage everything. You will never know what that meant to me. Larissa Traquair, the "Gr8tful Chick" - Thank you for impacting the world with your perspective on gratitude and for persevering with this vital message even through your own grief. Gr8tful for your contributions to this devotion and my life. Pastor Tom Pound - As both my friend and my church leader, we have walked a lot of trials together over the years in ministry. Grateful for your faithful leadership and especially for the sermon you preached on April 25, 2021 with Michael Williams. As I have said, if you never preach another sermon, the eternal impact of that one has a ripple effect we will not know until we are in Heaven some day. Pastor Gary Kirkpatrick, Amy Nadolson, Melissa Britt, Alana Meek, Shari Swonger, Julie Dickson, Joni Thomas, and Ginnie Berry - Thank you for reviewing the draft and providing important feedback and encouragement to make this devotion better! I appreciate all of you! To the 100s (1,000s) who prayed for us over and over and checked in faithfully, THANK YOU. There are too many people to mention here but just know that miracles happened because of your faithfulness. The "peace that passes understanding" was possible from God because of your prayers. This devotion fulfilled Romans 8:28 because of your prayers. |
